How to get the cat colony grant
How to get the cat colony grant
A practical guide to preparing a competitive application for Spain’s national cat colony grant. What is assessed, what you should have ready and which mistakes take an application out of the running.
Every year, the Spanish State allocates funds to municipalities that manage urban cat colonies under the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) method. However, many applications receive less funding than they could, or are left out altogether, not because the municipal program is poor but because the application is not prepared in the way the call for applications actually rewards.
This guide does not explain the whole content of the call. It explains what makes an application score high.
